About AI Newsnow
What AI Newsnow is
AI Newsnow is a live, story-centric AI news aggregator. Every 10 minutes it reads 259 curated sources — official lab blogs, major media, research feeds, developer communities, newsletters, podcasts and video channels — clusters related coverage into single stories, and ranks them by importance. One story, every angle, with a timeline of who reported what and when.
Who runs it
AI Newsnow is built and run by an independent developer as a fast, neutral way to follow the AI news cycle without wading through duplicate takes. It is not affiliated with NewsNow Publishing Ltd (newsnow.com), with ainewsnow.com, or with any AI lab or publisher it links to.
How sources are curated
Sources qualify when they publish original AI reporting or primary announcements, maintain a working feed, and have a track record of accuracy. Each source carries a tier: tier 1 is official/primary (lab blogs, research organisations), tier 2 is major media, tier 3 is blogs, newsletters and community feeds. Tier feeds into story ranking.
How clustering and scoring work
Headlines are tokenised and compared: stories merge when their titles genuinely overlap or when they share phrasing plus a common company or model. A story's importance score (1–10, shown as stars) combines the best source tier in the cluster, how many distinct outlets are covering it, whether an official announcement is present, launch language, and recency. No engagement metrics, no personalisation — the same feed for everyone.
The Daily Brief
Each morning at 6:30 UTC an AI-written brief summarises the last 24 hours' top stories, with links to the underlying story pages. You can read it on the site or get it by email.
Public API and feeds
The live snapshot is available as JSON at /api/news (free for
non-commercial use with attribution — a link back to ainewsnow.io). RSS feeds exist
for every section at /feeds/<section>.xml, e.g.
/feeds/top.xml. An embeddable top-stories widget is at
/embed.
Contact, corrections and removals
Questions, corrections, licensing concerns, or a publisher removal request: use the contact form. Removal requests from publishers are honoured — we link out and attribute rather than republish, and any source can opt out entirely.
