Anthropic accelerating AI development despite CEO's slowdown calls, research group says
An outside research group, METR, estimates Anthropic is improving its AI systems' capabilities around twice as quickly as a year ago, even as CEO Dario Amodei called for the industry to slow down so safety measures can catch up.
