Do AIs sometimes scrape things that are illegal to possess like child pornography? If so, how is that legal?

I’m not a tech person. I don’t know the laws around CP. I don’t really know how AI works except that they scrape a shit ton of stuff from the web. I’m thinking that they probably come in contact with stuff that is illegal. Does that stuff exist on their servers? Shouldn’t the owners of those server…
