Does it bother anyone that the best AI models couldn't beat a computer game made in 1980?

It's pretty well known that no AI has been able to beat Zork on its own without human guidance. Researching this led me down a rabbit about Microsoft's Jericho etc. does it seem counterintuitive that we have supposedly achieved AGi but it can't even beat a text adventure game?
