Dots & Codex crashing my laptop

16gb of ram wasn’t an issue until I noticed my entire laptop was bricked up this morning after I tried activating dots last night, then I saw codex consuming 4gb of ram, running no apparent task. I think it was the dots. Has anyone else seen this issue with dots or codex just giving it to your ram?…
