faces get blurry in wider shots with minimax h3 in comfyui. any fixes?

i'm running minimax h3 locally in comfyui on a 5090 with 32gb vram. faces look clear in close-ups, but as soon as the camera is farther away, they get blurry. i've tried a bunch of different quantized versions of the model and keep running into the same issue. has anyone found a way to improve this…
