Has anyone seen a negative impact with ASCII pruning a gguf?

I tried https://github.com/bsaleh03/ASCII-Condensed-prune-tools and it reduces Qwen3.8 27B gguf by about 0.6GB. I am wondering if anyone has seen a negative impact with doing so?
