Has free tier web Gemini become almost completely useless recently?

I use Gemini web for asking basic questions like "how to fix xyz settings in zyx game" or similar. For a few weeks now I've been unable to get anything useful out of it. It hallucinates, goes in circles, forgets things or contradicts itself. Is it just me?
