OpenAI launches Images 2.6 in ChatGPT with animated GIF creation and faster generation
OpenAI rolled out Images 2.6 in ChatGPT, Codex, and the API, adding animated GIF creation from text prompts or photos with editing of speed and frames, plus reference images. The company says the update generates images 50% faster and brings two new API models, GPT-Image-2.6 Flare and Sunburst.
