Tencent launches Hy4 AI model with visual reasoning and finance benchmark lead

Tencent released Hy4, its next-generation open-source AI model, adding visual understanding for the first time and restricting cybersecurity training data to reduce misuse risk. It scored highest overall in an evaluation of 579 real-world finance tasks, ahead of DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017.
