what i look for in outbound calling APIs now is mostly the boring failure stuff

been looking at a few outbound calling API / AI phone agent projects lately and i'm starting to think the demos are probably the least useful part. every voice agent demo looks roughly the same: agent calls business, then human answers, then agent asks question, maybe, nice transcript appears cool…
