Would there be any use in an async git post-commit hook that runs unit tests and can inject results into the agents chat stream?

Just wondering if there’s a better way to prevent regressions in large projects with long running agents. Currently I have a process where the agent requests independent review from a subagent, which runs regression tests. These tests add up in time, and I’m curious if there’s a way to get the same…
