AI for foreign language conversation practice?

Anyone more knowledgeable on compsci/linguistics than me have any opinions on using a (sustainable, net environmental positive) LLM to practice foreign language speaking (like I talk to it and it talks back and tells me what I did wrong)? I don't know enough about it to know whether it is reliable…
