Prix Goncourt drops Canadian-Haitian writer from top French literary prize list over AI claims

Canadian-Haitian novelist Thélyson Orélien was removed from the Prix Goncourt longlist following online claims that his book, "It Was Either That or Die", was largely written by artificial intelligence (AI), the organisers of France's top literary prize said Friday.
